Residency in Hofsos, Iceland
I'm heading off to Baer Art Center, Iceland again soon, this time not for a course, but for a 2-week residency. Really looking forward to this wonderful opportunity and the time to just focus on my art.

A productive week at the Balliglen Arts Centre in Co. Mayo in Ireland in October meant experimenting with new things and learning to do my first monoprints. What fun!

The group exhibition at the Villa Meier-Severini in Zollikon, ZH with artists Bridget Wilkin, Ira van der Merwe, Joanna Finnigan, Wiktor Mieiniczuk, Louise Tidd and myself was an incredibly varied show and had a good turnout. Thanks for coming along!
Painting in Iceland
This week-long course at Baer Art Center in Northern Iceland in September, 2017 was a stunning experience in every way. You can expect an exhibition of Iceland-influenced paintings in 2018.
Open House Exhibition 27 & 28 January 2017
This event was a success with over 35 wonderful, interested visitors spread over a day-and-a-half. The fantastic weather probably kept a few away but on the other hand, filled the house with light. At least 20 pieces sold and I got my first commission. This sounds a lot but a lot of works were on show representing 4 years of artistic development.
The feedback from the visitors was very positive: compliments about the quality, quantity, variety, and professionalism of the show. Many felt the pictures fitted the surroundings so well, it was a shame to split them up.
This is the first time I have exhibited and I found it a very positive experience. It took a lot of work hanging the paintings, putting together the price list, mailing invitations e.t.c. but I learned a lot and found it a valuable experience.
A big thank you to all for the encouragement, support and generosity.
