All prices listed in my Gallery-SHOP are in Swiss francs (CHF), which is roughly equivalent to 1Euro or 1US$. 

The automatic shipping rates given are for Europe including UK. Contact me for a quote for international shipping.

Returns

Buying an artwork is a big decision for many of us. I want my buyers to be delighted with every purchase so you have 14 days to decide if it is what you want. You can either return the piece personally or, if it has been shipped, you  wrap and ship the painting using the same service it was sent to you.  You will receive your refund payment within 14 days of arrival, minus the shipping and payment fee costs.

Returns and refunds are not currently possible on artworks sent outside Europe and the UK.

How much is shipping?

For pick-up in Baden, Switzerland there is no charge. If this is not convenient, I can deliver up to 20km from my home. The 5% shipping charge on my still- simple online shop will be refunded in these cases.

The price of shipping listed at checkout is for Europe and United Kingdom.  This covers everything including packaging and insurance so there are no hidden extras.

For other international orders, I will provide a quote on shipping based on your exact address. Please note that any taxes or duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Can I purchase your work with a deposit and a payment plan?

Yes, that can be arranged. For any work over CHF1000 you can pay in installments. Please send me a mail and we can work out an arrangement that suits you. As soon as the final payment is made, your work will be shipped to you.

Do you do commissions?

Yes. I am happy to create a beautiful work of art just for you.  In fact, I’ll create two works, so ensure you have some choice. Email me with your details and phone number so we can talk through what you have in mind. If you decide to go ahead, a 25% deposit is required in advance, which will be deducted from the final sale price. Prices and exact conditions depend on size and scope of the commission.

I want to buy a painting for someone else - how do I do this?

You can either select a piece yourself or you can purchase a Gift Voucher by e-mailing me.  This can be used for any available artwork on the website or in the Public Works on ArtworkArchive, or against a commission. Custom-designed gift vouchers can be sent as a .pdf , ready for you to print out.

Are your paintings framed?

It varies. Most work on canvas or cradled wood is sold unframed; many people prefer this more modern look and it means it can be shipped without costing you more. If you prefer the look of a frame, you can choose when you have the painting with you – it’s easier to decide that way!

Paintings on panel or MDF usually have a natural waxed wood or hand-painted shadow frame. (I’d happy to send photos of this.)

Paintings on paper are sold mounted and unframed (problem with shipping glass) unless specified otherwise.

Will my painting be ready to hang?

Mostly. A few have no defined right way up, and the client can choose.  Others have one hanging system or another, depending where they have been exhibited before.

Colour accuracy

I do my best to make sure the photographs depict my work as accurately as possible. But, colour varies depending on the device you use or your screen settings. Please be aware that the colour you see on your computer or phone may not be exactly the same as the artwork itself.

What materials do you use?

I use high quality materials to ensure paintings stand the test of time. This means, I use professional quality canvases and panels and finest quality artists’ paints, inks and mediums, waxes etc.

Damage

All paintings are wrapped with the utmost care and sent with professional courier services. In the unlikely event of damage to the painting upon receipt, please contact me within 7 days with photographs so we can discuss the situation on an individual basis.
